A tale of my experience on the streets.

It's been an interesting journey, and the people I've met have mostly been the worst type of people anyone would ever care to meet. Not the type you would care to fall asleep next to.

I have been fortunate though, I didn't have any horrific experiences while I was on the street.  If I had to pick the worst moment or the worst part about being on the street it was the heat. I live in Phoenix Arizona, and the day that my feet hit the the pavement was the very first day that it got really hot in Phoenix. It was the summer of 2017.  It had to be the hottest summer of all time, or maybe it was just because I had to spend every single day in it.

A little back story before I get to far ahead of myself. How I became homeless. It's a combination of things, 1 being I didn't have a steady paying job.

2. I was earning extra income by designing a website for a lady named Lisa.  She ended up being a super cunt, but I'll talk more about that in a sec.

3. My truck was impounded, because I let the insurance lapse. In Arizona, it's an automatically 30 day impound. Since I was already having issues with money, I wasn't able to get my truck out of impound. I was driving for Doordash doing deliveries for extra money, so once I lost my truck, I lost that extra money.

Which caused me to lose my apartment. Remember Lisa, she was also another reason why I ended up on the streets. I designed her website, spent over a month working on it, going over every detail with her. The money she had paid me through paypal, she ended up disputing. Since PayPal are a bunch of douche bags, she was able to successfully steal the site and get her money back. Then on top of it, she tried to sue me for damages to her company. Guess what, the bitch is still using the website that I put together for her.  http://lafacelab.com

I'm still a little sour about it, but I'm getting over it.  It was a good lesson to learn. Once I lost my truck, I lost it all. That was my only source of income, and the police stole that from me. Those are the reasons why I ended up on the streets. I tried numerous times to get a job, but they kept falling through. I couldn't find work.

We went from my apartment to my Ex mother in laws apartment. Which looking back was a bad idea, but i thought I could find work and be out of there before it all went to hell.  Little did I know, it only took 4 days before it went to hell.

My girlfriend ended up winning a little money from an online casino. And for some reason she decided to share how much she had won with Tina. Of course Tina needing to pay rent, and not having any money to do so she hit us up for some money. Which would have been ok, of course we were going to pay rent. But my GF being who she is instantly started a fight over it. Tina, not letting me argue with Ebony, runs in to join in on the fight.

This was the moment that both females were waiting for. Two angry females wanting to go at it. Well needless to say we got kicked out. Wait, it gets worse. So, for whatever reason Tina is in the mood to be a super duper Cunt and gives all my stuff away. I'm talking my new 55in flat screen 4k tv. My XBOX ONE. My new computer, my other 30in flat-screen smart tv. My new bed, that I paid over 500$ for. My Guitars, my bass guitar. All of my clothes. Everything that I owned, she gave it away.

(A side note, I actually spoke to the landlord about staying there a couple days prior to any of this happening. The landlord is the one who helped remove my items from the apartment. Which I would think is illegal since there was an agreement made that I would be staying there. I also had internet service set up which also would suggest I was there for more than a couple days.)

All said and done, I lost my truck and everything I owned with in a week.
I couldn't really understand how or why this was happening to me, I was a decent person. I didn't go around stealing, or cheating people. I wasn't a saint by no means, but I definitely was a horrible person.
I felt like Job from the bible.

My gf later confessed in a way that was evil as all hell. She told me while laughing that she had won enough money to get my truck out of impound, but instead just gambled it away.

The first couple of weeks, my girlfriend (Ebony) and I ended up at a hotel on 28th st and Van Buren.  We stayed with a crack dealer, a dyke, and another chic who just was there. We ended up giving the crack dealer what little money we had so she could re-up. Which went well for them, because once again we were the ones booted out of the hotel room.

What topped it off, as we were leaving the crack dealer runs up to the light rail where we are waiting at for the train. She starts to search our bags, accusing us of stealing a jar with a bunch of change in it. We didn't mind, since we didn't steal anything. It felt good watching them low life pieces of shit fret over their pennies. We found out later it was their uncle who had stolen the change jar.

Now were headed to Mesa on the light rail. I contacted a friend and he was going to meet us and give us a couple hundred dollars. We ended up getting a hotel room for a couple of nights at the Motel 6 next to Sun Splash in Mesa. The next couple of days are calm, it's hot as hell outside and we don't do much.  I was looking for work on my laptop. My GF slept most of the time.

Now that our money is gone and we got to leave the motel we decide to go down the road to the Mormon church and speak to the bishop.  We walk into the church with all of our bags. We wait patiently for the Sunday service to end and for the Bishop to have to a moment to speak with us.

That church and the the bishop were what I would consider to be living as close to the word of god as one could possibly be. They were the only church out of all the other Mormon churches that actually tried to help. They paid for 2 weeks at the Motel 6. Which we just wasted the time we had there. We didn't do anything productive during those 2 weeks. We mainly just slept.

To be continued.

Tired of Typing at the moment. But there is still 3 months left to talk about.
